Shipping policy

Seller: RKM BASSES LLC (Florida, USA). Instruments ship from our workshop in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Shipping cost

Insured, fully tracked shipping is quoted separately for your destination. It is not included in instrument prices or in the DS Series deposit, and is invoiced together with the balance.

When we ship

  • DS Series custom builds: production starts 7 calendar days after your order; the build takes about 4 months (estimate). We ship within 3 weeks after the balance and shipping are paid. If your instrument is not ready within 5 months from the production start, you may cancel for a full refund (see our Refund policy).
  • In-stock instruments: we ship within 3 weeks after payment and shipping are confirmed.

You will receive the tracking number by email.

Taxes and import duties

  • Mexico and the United States: under current rules no import duties apply. Shipments to the USA travel with a USMCA certificate of origin. Carrier brokerage or handling fees, and any duties created by future changes in trade rules, are paid by the buyer.
  • All other countries: import duties, taxes and customs fees are not included and are the buyer's responsibility. If a shipment is refused or abandoned in customs, return costs will be deducted from any amount due to you.

Damage or loss in transit

All shipments are insured. Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photos and keep all packaging. We will manage the insurance claim and work with you to repair or replace the instrument.

Costo de envío

El envío asegurado y con rastreo se cotiza por separado según tu destino. No está incluido en el precio de los instrumentos ni en el anticipo DS Series, y se factura junto con el saldo.

Cuándo enviamos

  • Construcciones personalizadas DS Series: la fabricación inicia 7 días naturales después de tu pedido; tarda alrededor de 4 meses (estimado). Enviamos dentro de las 3 semanas siguientes al pago del saldo y el envío. Si tu instrumento no está listo en 5 meses desde el inicio de fabricación, puedes cancelar con reembolso total (ver Política de reembolsos).
  • Instrumentos en existencia: enviamos dentro de las 3 semanas siguientes a confirmar el pago y el envío.

Recibirás el número de rastreo por correo.

Impuestos y aranceles

  • México y Estados Unidos: con las reglas actuales no se pagan aranceles de importación. Los envíos a EE.UU. viajan con certificado de origen T-MEC. Los cargos de agente aduanal o manejo de la paquetería, y cualquier arancel que surja por cambios futuros en las reglas comerciales, los paga el comprador.
  • Cualquier otro país: los aranceles, impuestos de importación y cargos aduanales no están incluidos y corren por cuenta del comprador. Si un envío se rechaza o se abandona en aduana, los costos de retorno se descontarán de cualquier cantidad a tu favor.

Daño o pérdida en tránsito

Todos los envíos van asegurados. Reporta daños dentro de las 48 horas siguientes a la entrega con fotos y conserva todo el empaque. Nosotros gestionamos el reclamo al seguro y trabajamos contigo para reparar o reponer el instrumento.
