Seller: RKM BASSES LLC (Florida, USA). Instruments ship from our workshop in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Shipping cost

Insured, fully tracked shipping is quoted separately for your destination. It is not included in instrument prices or in the DS Series deposit. The payment link for shipping is sent once the instrument has been paid in full.

When we ship

  • DS Series custom builds: the build takes about 4 months from the deposit date (good-faith estimate, not a guaranteed date); production starts 7 calendar days after your order. When your instrument is finished we invoice the balance. Shipping is quoted separately. The payment link for shipping is sent once the instrument has been paid in full. We ship within 3 weeks after the balance and shipping are paid.
  • Custom Shop builds: the build takes about the time stated in your quote, counted from the deposit date (good-faith estimate, not a guaranteed date). When your instrument is finished we email photos and an invoice for the balance. Shipping is quoted separately. The payment link for shipping is sent once the instrument has been paid in full.
  • In-stock instruments: we ship within 3 weeks after payment and shipping are confirmed.

You will receive the tracking number by email.

Taxes and import duties

  • Mexico and the United States: No import duties apply under current rules, and RKM pays the customs broker charges. A USMCA (T-MEC) certificate of origin is included with every instrument.
  • All other countries, including Canada: Import duties, taxes, customs fees and customs broker charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Damage or loss in transit

All shipments are insured. Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photos and keep all packaging. We will manage the insurance claim and work with you to repair or replace the instrument.

Warranty shipments. RKM pays for the warranty repair; shipping to our workshop and back to you is at your expense, except where a mandatory legal right provides otherwise. Transit damage is handled through the shipment insurance, as described above.

Costo de envío

El envío asegurado y con rastreo se cotiza por separado según tu destino. No está incluido en el precio de los instrumentos ni en el anticipo DS Series. El link de pago del envío se manda una vez que el instrumento está pagado por completo.

Cuándo enviamos

  • Construcciones personalizadas DS Series: tarda alrededor de 4 meses desde la fecha del anticipo (estimado de buena fe, no una fecha garantizada); la fabricación inicia 7 días naturales después de tu pedido. Cuando tu instrumento está terminado te facturamos el saldo. El envío se cotiza por separado. El link de pago del envío se manda una vez que el instrumento está pagado por completo. Enviamos dentro de las 3 semanas siguientes a que se paguen el saldo y el envío.
  • Construcciones Custom Shop: tarda alrededor del plazo que indique tu cotización, contado desde la fecha del anticipo (estimado de buena fe, no una fecha garantizada). Cuando tu instrumento está terminado te enviamos por correo fotos y la factura del saldo. El envío se cotiza por separado. El link de pago del envío se manda una vez que el instrumento está pagado por completo.
  • Instrumentos en existencia: enviamos dentro de las 3 semanas siguientes a confirmar el pago y el envío.

Recibirás el número de rastreo por correo.

Impuestos y aranceles

  • México y Estados Unidos: Con las reglas actuales no se pagan aranceles de importación, y RKM paga los cargos del agente aduanal. Cada instrumento incluye un certificado de origen T-MEC (USMCA).
  • Cualquier otro país, incluido Canadá: Los aranceles de importación, impuestos, cargos aduanales y cargos del agente aduanal corren por cuenta del comprador.

Daño o pérdida en tránsito

Todos los envíos van asegurados. Reporta daños dentro de las 48 horas siguientes a la entrega con fotos y conserva todo el empaque. Nosotros gestionamos el reclamo al seguro y trabajamos contigo para reparar o reponer el instrumento.

Envíos por garantía. RKM paga la reparación en garantía; el envío a nuestro taller y el de regreso a ti corren por tu cuenta, salvo cuando un derecho legal irrenunciable disponga otra cosa. Los daños en tránsito se atienden con el seguro del envío, como se describe arriba.
